Poor planning was the biggest issue. There were events at The GA Dome and Phillips Arena so there was no parking for Gospelfest attendees. People drove around 30-40 minutes and many gave up. I was so disappointed with the attitudes of many of these so-called church celebrities. Papa San, the Jamaican rapper, refused to go on because ticket sales were not good and the promoter was unable to pay him the balance. I understand the business side of all this but he was given half of the money upfront, he and six handlers were flown in a put up in the Peachtree Plaza. I thought that was so tacky.
